Ever since school got out, I haven't been able to type and post a lot. I
sincerely apologize for that. And to tell you something cool about my life,
my poem, My Life is going to get published in a book. YAY! Oh, and I saw
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Yay, again. And lastly, I am
currently reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix because I was
too lazy to last year. That is my life. Don't kill me for not posting for
so long. -KMK

"Do not cry Katsumi," the Samurai said sympathetically.
We had been dragged into a dungeon like room in Shiniko's fortress. It
was dark and filthy, and I had given up all hope.
"There is absolutely no chance that we will ever rescue my father," (a/n
I know how to say father in Japanese now! I saw it on a RK DVD!) I couldn't
help but whine.
"We can still escape," the Samurai said sounding surprisingly calm.
"Not without your swords!"
"There are still ways you cannot see. If you leave me alone, maybe I will
be able to figure one out."
I retreated, once again embarrassed at seeming immature to the Samurai.

I opened my eyes to see a guard poking me with a sword. I had fallen
asleep!
"You, girl!" he said, "You and your friend will be joining us for
dinner."
As soon as we arrived at the "dining room" I knew this was no ordinary
dinner. Not only were there torches rather than candles lighting the walls,
but there were also chains on the seats.
"Sit!" one of the guards barked at me. I immediately did as told. As soon
as I sat down, the guard chained me to the chair. I looked around and found
the Samurai chained to a chair on the other side of the table.
The door creaked open. "Hello, friends," Shiniko's voice followed by his
cold laughter, "Today over dinner, we are going to converse about our best
friend Kajimara Sakatao. What will be willing to give me for him, Samurai?"
The room was quiet until Shiniko again broke the silence, "Well? Anything?
Or are you a selfish brat, like your little girlfriend?"
"WHAT! I could not control my rage, "I AM NOT A SELFISH BRAT, YOU
BASTARD!"
"As a matter of fact, I am a bastard," he coolly replied, "I had no
father when I was born. Now, let's get back on the matter at hand. Since
you have no proposal for me, Samurai, I will offer you this: you pledge
yourself to me, and I will give you Kajimara."
"Now that wouldn't be very fun," the Samurai replied, "How about I fight
for him, and if I lose, we're both yours."
"Interesting. As a bonus, if you lose I also get the girl. How about it?"
"Sure."
"What! How can you gamble our lives like that!" it was a predictable
outburst.
"Don't worry," the Samurai replied calmly, as usual, "With all these
things at stake, I'm sure to win."
"Is it a deal?" Shiniko smirked at the last spoken word.
"Okay. What do you think Katsumi?"
"WHAT! All of a sudden I matter?! Go ahead and get us killed for all I
care!"
"Okay, I hope you won't regret that."

^_^ Nice ending, ne? Sorry about it being so short. It's three pages in my
huge handwriting. My brother really liked the, "I actually am a bastard"
line. As I said I can't post that much. So, I'm going to alternate between
reading chapters of Harry Potter and writing. R &R! Suggestions, comments,
complaints all welcome via review or e-mail! -KMK
