Ring Warriors

Blood Rain

It was about two in the morning, as Megumi came out of a nightclub. She was a seventeen year old girl who, through the use of a fake ID, was able to get into the club. As she stepped onto the street, she noticed that it was raining heavily.

"Shit!" said Megumi "Figures it would rain, and me without a damn umbrella." She began running to try to avoid getting too wet. She stopped in front of an alley, where it seemed to be dry. As she stood there to catch her breath, she felt an arm wrap around her neck. "What the..?" said Megumi

"Shut the fuck up, bitch!" said her assailant. "I don't wanna hear it!"

"What do you want?" pleaded Megumi.

"Don't even try that shit!" said the assailant

"What shit?" asked Megumi, sounding frightened.

"This, oh I'll give you my body if I let you live. You women, all a bunch of goddamn cockteases."

"I wasn't gonna say anything like that." said Megumi.

"The hell you weren't." said the assailant, as he pulled out a knife, and slashed it across Megumi's throat. He watched as Megumi fell to the ground, the rain washing her blood off the ground. The man walked out of the alley, leaving Megumi's lifeless corpse in the alley.

Arianna opened her eyes, and found herself in a bedroom. As she looked beside her, she saw Jicaro lying beside her. She said nothing as Jicaro came up to her, and their lips locked. As they kissed, Arianna could feel Jicaro unbuttoning the shirt she was wearing. She then felt as his

hand made its way down to her panties. She did nothing to stop him, as she felt her panties come off. Jicaro removed his lips from Ariannas, and began kissing her neck. Arianna laid there, as she felt Jicaro slowly kissing his way down her body. She let out a moan, as she felt him head down in between her legs. As she moaned, she closed her eyes. She opened them to find herself in her bedroom. She sat up, and looked all over her room.

"Crap!" Arianna said to herself "It was just another dream!" She looked at her alarm clock, and saw that it was 7:30. "Oh hell, I'm gonna be late!" Arianna quickly got out of bed, and got ready for school.

It had been a few months since Jonica was murdered by a drugged out teenager. A lot of the students at C. Whitman school were still saddened by her death. Everyone refused to believe however, that the teen and his dealer were stopped by someone dressed like Sailor Moon, or so the rumours went.

"I can't believe they still don't believe we exist." Dianna said to Tika, as they sat in front of the school waiting for Arianna and Tenima. The four girls had only a few months ago became the Ring Warriors. Since stopping the drug dealer, they hadn't much reason to use their powers.

"Well," said Tika "maybe if we get a picture of ourselves, we can sell it to a newspaper. We'd make some money, and people would know we exist."

"Oh," said Dianna "like Peter Parker."

"Who?" said Tika

"Peter Parker," said Dianna "the secret identity of Spiderman."

"Oh," said Tika "like in that movie?

"Exactly!"

"Oh man," said Tika "Tobey Maguire was SO hot in that movie!"

"Ya know," said Dianna sarcastically "you always there with the most relevant comments in conversations."

"Thanks!" said Tika, a big smile on her face. As Dianna looked away, she saw Arianna and Tenima walking towards them.

"Oh thank you god." Dianna said to herself "Hopefully some intelligent conversation."

"Hey" said Tenima, as she made her way over to Dianna and Tika.

"Hey," said Dianna "what were you two talking about?"

"Did you read the newspaper today?" asked Arianna.

"No, why?" asked Dianna.

"Some seventeen year old girl got murdered last night."

"Oh my god!" said Dianna "Think it as anything to do with that Nokturnal?"

"No," said Arianna "doesn't even seem similar to what happened to Jonica."

"Hey," said a student, as he walked by the girls. "That's kinda sick to be talking about Jonica like that. Even if ya didn't like her, that's no way to be talking about her."

"Get out of here you loser!" said Dianna, as she pushed the student out of the way.

"Bitch!" said the student angrily, as he walked away.

"So anyway," said Tenima "back to what we were..." Tenima stopped what she was saying, as she saw Jicaro walking towards the front doors. As Jicaro walked past the girls, Tenima pushed Arianna in front of Jicaro. Arianna collided with Jicaro, and fell to the ground.

"Hey," said Jicaro, as he helped Arianna up "you okay?"

"Yeah." said Airanna, as her face went red from embarrassment.

"Well," joked Jicaro "if we were driving, I'd have to ask for your number for insurance purposes." Jicaro proceeded to laugh at his own joke, his pearly white teeth showing as he laughed. Arianna let out a nervous laugh, as Jicaro winked at her, then walked away. Arianna gave Dianna a dirty look, as she walked back to the group.

"What was that?" asked Arianna angrily.

"Just helping you," said Dianna "figured that would help make your dream become a reality."

"What dream?" asked Tenima.

"Nevermind!" said Arianna, a serious look on her face.

"C'mon, tell us!" pleaded Tika.

"No," said Dianna, as she looked over at Arianna. "Arianna doesn't want me to say, so I won't."

"Well," said Tika, as she looked at her watch. "Class will be starting in a minute, so we better get inside." As the girls began walking inside the school, Arianna noticed dark clouds moving in.

As the final bell rang, the girls walked out of the school, only to be met with rain.

"Is it still raining?" asked Tika

"Looks like it," said Tenima "and me without a damn umbrella." The girls watched as everyone got into their cars and drove away.

"I really need to get my license" said Dianna, as she stood at the front doors, trying not to get soaked. All of a sudden, the girls saw a car stop in front of them. In the drivers seat, was Jicaro.

"Hey," said Jicaro "you girls need a ride?" The girls giggled, as they made their way over to the car. Dianna, Tika, and Tenima quickly got in the backseat, leaving Arianna to sit up front. As Arianna looked in the back seat, Dianna flashed a smile at her.

As Jicaros car stopped in front of Ariannas house, the girls got out.

"Thanks for the ride!" said Arianna, trying not to sound too giddy about riding beside Jicaro.

"Anytime!" said Jicaro, as he smiled at Arianna. She felt her face get hot, as she began to blush. She closed the car door, and walked towards her house with the girls.

"Thanks for the ride!" said Dianna, trying to sound like Arianna.

"Shut up!" laughed Arianna, as they all went into the house.

It was about 11:30 p.m, as Himiko came out of an all night convenience story. Himiko was a 16 year old girl who went to C. Whitman High School. She needed something sweet and sugary, so what better place to go then a convenience store. As she walked out of the store, she opened a bag of

chips, and tried to eat them while holding up an umbrella.

"Stupid rain" Himiko said to herself. "Hope it stops soon!" All of a sudden, she felt the presence of someone following her. Her walking quickly turned into running, as she dropped her chips and umbrella. As she ran, she felt a hand grab her by the back of the neck, and smash her face into a wall. She opened her eyes, to see a man in his early 20's standing over her.

"What are you doing?" asked Himiko, as she saw the knife in the mans hand.

"Just shut up bitch!" said the man "This'll all be over soon?"

"Are...Are you gonna rape me?" asked a very frightened Himiko.

"Yeah," said the man "you wish!"

"Then...what are you gonna do?" asked Himiko.

"This!" said the man, as he proceeded to cut open Himikos shirt.

"So you are gonna rape me!" said Himiko.

"No," said the man "I'm not!" He then proceeded to stab the knife into Himikos chest. As she screamed, he brought the blade across her throat, causing her screaming to become gurgling. The man stood up. "I'm just gonna make those stupid cops think you were!" The man proceeded to walk away from the body.

"Well," said Tenima, as she looked outside. "It doesn't look like the rains gonna let up anytime soon, so we better get going before it gets worse."

"Alright," said Arianna, as the girls headed towards the front door. "I'll see you all tomorrow at school then." After the girls said their goodbyes, Arianna turned on the tv.

"Topping off our top story." said the reporter "A sixteen year old girl was found dead just hours ago. This is the second teenage death this week, police are trying to find a link between the death. The victim, who's name is Himiko, attended C. Whitman High School, while the other

victim seventeen year old Megumi attended R. Rameriez High."

"Oh my god!" said Arianna.

The rain still hadn't let up, as Arianna walked towards the front doors of C. Whitman High. As usual, waiting in front of the school was Dianna, Tika, and Tenima.

"Hey," Dianna said to Arianna, as she walked up to her. "Did you hear about Himiko?"

"Yeah," said Arianna "it was on the news right after you left."

"What the hell's going on?" asked Tenima.

"People are being killed" said Tika.

"We know that Tika," said Dianna "we're wondering why it's happening."

"Oh" said Tika.

"So what do you think?" Tenima asked Arianna.

"I think," said Arianna "this is a job for the Ring Warriors."

"Question." said Dianna. "When the hell did we start calling ourselves the Ring Warriors?"

"Just now," said Arianna "it fits, we wear rings, and we're warriors...in a sense."

"Whatever!" said Dianna.

"So let's take care of this." said Arianna. All of a sudden the school bell rang "Right after school." The girls then went into the school, and headed to their first class.

The girls went into their first class, and saw a new student sitting in the previously empty seat. As the girls sat down, they wondered who the hell the new kid was. As the second bell rang, the teacher walked into the classroom.

"Good morning everyone," said Mrs. Takahashi "as many of you have noticed, we have a new student. Can you please come up to the front of the class?" The class watched as the student dressed entirely in black, walk to the front of the class. "Students, this is Markel." The teacher waited for some kind of response from the students, but ended up not getting one. The teacher told Markel to go back to his seat. As he walked past Ariannas desk, he noticed the ring

on her finger, he proceeded to grab her hand.

"Where did you get this ring?" demanded Markel.

"Hey, woah, back off!" said Arianna, as she quickly pulled her hand away.

"TELL ME!" yelled Markel.

"Markel," said Mrs. Takahashi "please keep your voice down, and take your seat!" As Markel went back to his seat, he stared at Arianna.

"That guy was fucking creepy!" said Arianna, as the girls walked out of the school, and opened their umbrellas.

"I know," said Dianna "see how freaked out he got over the rings?"

"Yeah," said Tenima "think he knows anything about the powers in these rings."

"Don't think so," said Dianna "the only other person who knows, is that old guy that gave us the rings."

"So what are we gonna do about this killer?" asked Tika.

"We're gonna find him," said Arianna "then we're gonna kick his ass!"

"How will we find him though?" asked Tenima.

"The killings started about the time we got this rain." said Arianna. "That probably has something to do with it. For now though, we wait." As Arianna finished speaking, she saw Markel come out of the school. The girls proceeded to walk away. As Arianna looked behind her, she noticed that Markel was staring at her and the other girls.

"So how are gonna find him?" asked Tenima, as they all sat in the living room at her house.

"Well," said Arianna "it seems as though the killings are taking place downtown. I imagine that's where we'll find this killer."

"How are we gonna find him though?" asked Dianna.

"We're gonna need to set up a trap," said Arianna "but we're gonna need bait."

"But who's gonna look like their stupid enough to get caught?" asked Tenima. Arianna, Dianna, and Tenima all looked at each other, then looked over at Tika.

"What?" said Tika.

"I can't believe I'm doing this!" said Tika, as she walked down the street, holding an umbrella. Some time had passed, and nothing had happened. Tika picked up her cell phone, and called Arianna.

"Did you see him?" asked Arianna, as her and the rest of the girls stood inside a building down the street.

"No, nothing!" said Tika "Maybe he decided not to kill tonight."

"Well," said Dianna, as she spoke into the cell phone. "Head back to the rendezvous, and we'll try again tomorrow."

"Huh?" said Tika

"Come back to the restaurant we're sitting in." said Dianna.

"Oh!" said Tika "I'll see ya there then, bye." As Tika headed back to the restaurant, she heard footsteps come out of an alleyway. Before she had the chance to turn around, she felt a hand cover her mouth, and pull her into the alley.

"Just shut up!" came the voice of a man "You don't make any noise, and I might let you live." Tika said nothing, as she tried to dial Ariannas cell. The man noticed this, and knocked the cell out of her hand. "Not smart, bitch!"

Meanwhile, Arianna noticed her cell ringing, and answered it. As she listened, she heard the sound of struggling in the background.

"Crap!" said Arianna, as she quickly stood up. "We gotta go, NOW!" The girls said nothing, as they quickly stood up, and ran out of the restaurant.

"Why are you doing this?" asked Tika, as she noticed a knife to her throat.

"It's you damn women." said the man.

"What are you talking about man?" asked Tika

"Don't call me man!" said the man angrily, "I hate it when people call each other man. I have a name...it's Dandinar."

"Okay Dandinar," said Tika "what do you mean it's us damn women?"

"You women," said Dandinar "you seem to hold all the cards. You're attractive and you know it, you could get a guy hard, by just licking your lips. You women always complain that you'll never find anyone. When someone like me comes along to ask you women out, you look at me like I'm a fucking leper. You women try to pass yourselves as these clean, innocent people, making us guys look dirty. To be truthful, it's you damn women that are the filth."

"But why are you killing women?" asked Tika

"Because," said Dandinar "like I said, you women are filth. I kill in the rain, because as you've noticed, the rain washes away the filth. And of course, you women are the biggest filth there is!" As Dandinar smiled at his comment, he failed to notice Tikas foot coming up, and connecting with his crotch. He fell to his knees, and watched as Tika ran away.

As he stood up, and began running in her direction, he saw four different blasts of light. As his eyes adjusted, he saw all the girls standing in front of him, wearing their Ring Warriors outfits.

"Hookers," said Daninar "just as good." As he ran at them with his knife, he was met with a boot to the face by Tika. As he stood up, he was kicked in the stomach by Tenima. The girls watched, as this caused him to slouch over, and throw up.

"Eeewww!" said Tika. As Tika looked away from the vomit, her and Dianna noticed Arianna getting ready to attack.

"Quick," said Dianna "get the camera!" Tika quickly pulled out a camera, and took a picture just as Arianna jumped to kick.

"The hell?" said Arianna, as the flash of the camera temporarily blinded her. Dandinar used this opportunity to grab her leg, and throw her into the wall.

"Crap!" said Tika, as she quickly put the camera away. Dandinar used this opportunity to hover over Arianna with his knife.

"Ready to die?" asked Dandinar. He watched as Arianna said nothing, but he noticed that her hands were in a cup shape, and shaking.

"DIAMOND BLAST!" yelled Arianna, as a clear blast of energy came shooting out of her hand, and knocked Dandinar into a wall. As Dandinar stood up, he found his body in great pain. He looked around him, to see the four girl closing in.

"Fuck this!" said Dandinar, as he ran out of the alley. The girls watched as he ran out of the alley, into the middle of a road. They watched as a speeding car hit him, knocking him to the ground killing him instantly.

"Well," said Tenima "that was weird!"

"Yeah!" said Dianna "Now, what the hell was that?" as she looked over at Arianna.

"I can explain." said the old man, as he suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

"Holy s.." said Dianna "you really gotta stop doing that!"

"Sorry," said the old man "but as I was saying, I can explain what happened. As you become more accustomed to these rings, you will discover powers, such as the Diamond Blast, executed by Arianna. These new powers will help you in your mission."

"When do these powers come into affect exactly?" asked Dianna

"You'll know when the time comes!" said the old man. All of a sudden, he disappeared into thin air.

Arianna woke up the next morning, and looked at the newspaper. As she looked at the headline, she saw her picture. The article went on to talk about how the rain killer was stopped by the mysterious girls, and the picture had come from an anonymous source.

"Dianna and Tika!" Arianna said to herself. As she put down the paper and looked outside, she saw the rain suddenly stop, and the sun come out. Arianna smiled, as she sat down to eat breakfast.

Meanwhile, in the forest the old man was meditating. All of a sudden, he could feel disturbance. He quickly opened his eyes and stood up.

"He's back," the old man said to himself "Markel is back!"
