This is a poem I wrote about a conversation with a friend, telling them to learn from mistakes I've already made.

She walked towards me, with a smile,
I knew the smile just was not real,
I knew there was a problem there,
Confusion, all that she could feel.

She told me of her problems then,
Patiently, I listened in,
She told me that there was this guy,
And all she wanted was to sin,

'You won't like this advice from me,'
This is what I told my friend,
'Don't make what could be a mistake,
It isn't worth it in the end.'

Tears sprouted in her eyes,
And then she nodded, soundlessly,
Then she walked away again,
Holding on to purity.
