Crows, and Corn

Once there where two crows, one young, one where sitting on a fence looking at a crop of corn with a tall baggy scarecrow in the middle. "Why do we not feast on the corn old one?" the young one asked his old companion."Its obvious that that is not a real man, why do we not feed?" The old crow nodded his head in thought, barely listining to his young friend. "Fine, you can just sit there like a bump on a log until all this corn mildews, but I for one am going to feast!" With that the young crow flew straight at a stalk with some particularly juicy looking corn, but just as he landed a huge callico Tom cat lept up, and ate him.

The moral of the story is, tranquil scenes are not always so tranquil.
