I've felt enternal agony

Torture many have endured

But now you've stripped me of my soul

Held me down and then

Slashed across my spirit

Made me forget what I am

I've been torn from humanity

Left with nothing but a body

And I cannot stop it

A prisoner within myself

I prayed so long for something to fight for

But now that I have it

I find myself unable to fight

I would just die

But I am unable to do that too

I still hear the screams

Feel the despair of many others

Washing over me in waves

Until the world has changed

Until The cries of pain are forgotten

I have nothing left to do

But try to fight

Try to protect myself

And watch as others fail
