Sunrise

From darkness to blinding light

When stars are fading into the sky

Comes forth the sun, so bright

Rising upwards, over so high

Creating a glow, for a new day

Breaking shadows of bewildering black

The round globe, the colour of hay

But be aware, for soon light shall be in lack

The blue above us darkens, the fire ball does fade

And once again, the night does reign supreme

Day given no quarter, is to peace laid

The piercing rays of illumination are over, the world does deem

Yet morning is always near and the saffron gaze of dawn

Ready for your tired yawn
