To You

I write a letter on my finest stationary
Written with my finest ink
Seal it in my last envelope
And tuck it in my drawer

To you I write all the time
To you I confide all my fears
To you I send my highest gratitude
I wish you were real, my love

I sing a joyful song of praise
Thank you sun, you rose again
I fold it inside a letter
And tuck it in my drawer for you

To you I send my song
To you I pass on my joy
To you I smile and know I'm free
I wish you were real, my darling

I paint a picture of a bridge
Covered in ivy, over a stream
On one side is me, lost in my world
And on the other side is you

To you I give my dreams
To you I write my deepest wishes
To you I paint, a dedication
I wish you were real, my one

Whenever I'm lost, whenever I'm scared
Open the drawer, pull out a letter
This letter is of the plainest of paper
And when I open it up, I see you

I see you in your handwiriting
I see you in my love
I see you in every word you pen
I wish I could find you, my love

.~*~.
