Dear Georgina,
I cried again for you last night,
And wondered if you saw.
I've cried for you before
While no one was around.
Most days I block it out,
Pretend we live far apart,
That maybe you'll ring again,
Just like you use to.

Dear Georgina,
I cried again for you last night,
The first time in months.
I remembered you were here no longer,
Remembered you were gone.
I hope you're feeling better now,
That you made the right choice.
That you're happier than you were,
And that you still think of me.

Dear Georgina,
I cried again for you last night,
Remembered you could never visit.
I wished we could have had more time,
That I had written, or rung.
But we drifted apart,
Like old friends can,
And now I cry for you,
And the things we shall never have.

Dear Georgina,
I cried again for you last night.
