Peters Prayer
I am sorry for all the things I have done,
But its all over now and the battle is won.
I have committed a crime you cannot forgive,
I see that now and I thus cannot live.
Friendship is great, greater than all
I could not see that and so I would fall.
I will live my life to the end of my days
I can't bring you back but I can mend my ways.
So I speak of mistakes I have made
I want to learn more but I'm just too afraid
So if you're listening with pity at heart,
I don't deserve that because I played my part.
So I am the last, the group once was strong.
I should have been first but it all went so wrong.
my heart has won, I am paying the coast,
But that won't make up for what you have lost.
