The Docks at Sunrise

A blood moon rises in the Eastern horizon,
Ending the day in a most frigid silence,
While the wind fails to encompass your will.
Hurry to find your imaginary shelter!
Embrace your trust in what you hold dear,
Only to watch it fly with the tainted melody.

So run, my dear, by the path your heart foresees,
These lands are only Eden to your weary eyes,
Blessing the seduced mind a deception untold.
Dost thou truly wish to be enthralled by detriment,
To receive a treatment unreached by thy merits,
And to watch thy tears wash away in sorrow?

The darkness has flooded the wilderness in dread,
Summoning a tempest to create the Netherworld,
Preparing to distort the beauty you hold.
Extend your courage through the peril and fright!
Your delicacy is unworthy of such evildoing,
To be the victim of reality's vengeance.

It is never too late to save your own spirit,
Despite your fears, Night is never without cease.
Run, now, to the East, where the sun shall surface!
It is there you will find the golden docks at sunrise,
And It is there I await, with a sail in hand,
To escort you to paradise... wherever it may be.
