Further down the dark halls
of the old, time worn hospital,
The night nurse lurks up and down the corridors.
Dressed in pure white,
A syringe in one hand,
A knife in the other.
Night after night, patients' bodies disappear,
And some are even found deceased.
When questioned, the nurse furtively responds,
"Perhaps the life suuport switch accidentally shut off"
Only she knows the truth.
When the clock strikes twelve
and the patients sleep soundly in their beds,
A vague shadow casts upon them,
And it injects valium in their skin.
After a short time, the shadow slips away,
carrying the unresponsive body in it's arms.
The shadow walks into the operating room,
Where the truth unfolds.
The nurse's shadow straps them down to the table
And dissects the body slowly, removing every organ.
Feeling hungry, she eats the organs greedily,
Devouring any piece of evidence.
The heart, the eyes, the lungs, and intestines,
All rest in her full stomach.
The following day, doctors discover the subjects,
Some are dead, some have completely vanished.
When questioned, the nurse nonchalently responds
"Maybe they collapsed somewhere due to heart failure."
But only she'll know the truth...
