Waiting at the shore
Don't want to cry no more
Wrapped my tears in a paper bag
Without any reasons to brag
I run through an empty highway
Where I never saw a fray
I leave the wasted tar
To someone, somewhere far
The dew I now drink
Comes from the nervous blink
The flower I knew is gone
Dried, wasted and forlorn
With no seed left to revive
A relationship so dried
I look forward to the end of the road
Trying to find a trace of the lost gold
I turn and look back
Close my eyes to the track
Creak with my teeth to the wind
Empty, lost and grinned
Tied to the shredded heart
Taken like some impart
I plunge into my personal oblivion
To gather the heart broke legion.
