Kairi: I’m VERRRYYYY SOOORRY that you’re eagerly desperate to know or waiting for the 8th chapter of ‘Romance With A Pop Star’. I was having a hard time to write in the next chapter. I was having a exam for this week but its already over. WAAAAHHHH!

Yami Yoru: (glaring at Kairi) Do you really have to write about this kind of chapter, Kai?

Kairi: Of course I have to, Yami Yoru. And if I don’t everyone won’t know more about my characters. And by the way why are you here!?

Yami Yoru: (put his arms behind) Like I said from Suki da Aoi 5th chapter, I’m YOUR yami. And a yami must stick around.

Kairi: Excuse me. You’re my MALE ALTER-GO! Not my yami side. Also we don’t have the same mind nor the same attitude!(veins popping)

Yami Yoru: Hump! But alter-go and dark side are still the same, Kai.

Kairi:(glares at Yami Yoru again) Same here. And oh by the way… Why do ‘ya have to call me that name?

Yami Yoru: Nope… No reason…

Kairi:… I hate you.

Yami Yoru: That’s why I don’t being your dark side. I bet this story would really bore me.

Kairi: (veins popping)Shut up! And read this story, Yami Yoru, and see if this bores you.(to the readers) Before I forgot something Yami Yoru is my dark side. Well actually he’s my MALE alter-go. And Yami Yoru’s name means Darkness Night.

Track 8: Hikaru vs. Miroku part 1

==Dream==

“Our 1st place winner goes to… Hidokawa Hikaru!” the announcer shouted.

Miroku stared at the kind red head girl with a shock expression on her face. She can’t believe that she lost the competition to such a cheap girl that she had ever seen. After that contest, any boys were surrounding at Hikaru. Miroku also couldn’t believe that the boys like such a common attitude.

==Dream==

Miroku jolt out of the bed, she covered with sweats. She can’t believe that she had that dream again ever since Hikaru appeared in the picture. She gritted her jaws tightly while holding her own blanket.

“Curse you, Hidokawa Hikaru…” she whispers very angrily.

=== In Fuirei High==

“Hm?” Hikaru wondered.

She saw a piece of paper that hanging in her shoe locker. She unfold the paper and saw it was written, ‘I’M NOT GOING TO LOSE TO YOU!’. Hikaru was confused yet she doesn’t understand why the person writes this note to her. Then she felt a small pat from her back. As she turns and saw Aki, and the others are there with smiles on their faces. Then she completely forgot the paper from her locker.

“Ohayo, mina-san.” She said with her usual tone.

“Yo Hikaru-kun, you look seem really trouble. Did that girl and her friends bullied you again?” Aki asked her,

“That girl?” Hikaru wondered.

“Who’s ‘that girl’ you’re talking about Aki?” Yuu asked her curiously.

“What Aki-chan meant the girl who used to bullying Hikaru-chan whenever she sees her.” Meia answer in monotone.

Hiroshii and Yusuke seem to be really worried at Hikaru as they learn… or they discover that Hikaru was being picked on or being bullying on such an innocent girl like her. Yuu and Meia noticed at the 2 lads’ worried ness on the innocent red head girl. Then Jun answered out before Meia could answers.

“So how ‘bout we all go for some snacks, huh guys?” he asked them,

“Snacks? Isn’t that too early for today?” Hikaru wondered in chibi.

“Oi are you aren’t planning to get fat, aren’t ‘ya, Jun-chi?” Aki asked him with an irritated chibi look.

Jun glared furiously at the blonde haired girl Yankee. Then Hikaru, Hiroshii, Yusuke, Yuu, and Meia stared at the 2 with a major sweat-drop that was now rolling down above their heads. And Meia just had a silly look which was too rare to see that kind of look.

“Shall we leave them?” Meia asked them.

They all nod agreeing Meia’s suggestion and leave those 2 alone. Hikaru really don’t like it yet she left them.

+After Class+

“WHY DID YOU LEFT US!!!!???” Aki and Jun yelled at them furiously.

“Well that’s because even we would try to stop you guys from fighting you might not listen to us.” Yusuke reason out at them calmly.

Aki and Jun sighs with mushroom breathe coming out from their mouth. Hikaru just smiled at Jun and Aki then she turned at Hiroshii.

“Those two look like a perfect couple isn’t it?” said Hiroshii jokily.

“You’re probably right, Hiroshii-kun. Those two always argued or fought each other ever since elementary.” The innocent red haired girl replied.

Hiroshii smiled at her handsomely which made Yusuke felt jealous at him but Hikaru didn’t notice at Yusuke’s expression. She was still talking to Hiroshii very happily.

Then they saw on of their classmates are surrounding around in near the sliding door. This also caught Hikaru’s attention of there.

“Oh boy don’t tell me that its THAT event!!!” Jun yelled out surprisingly.

“What d’ya mean by that Jun?” Yuu asked him curiously.

“Are you making up or something, Jun?” Yusuke asked irritated.

“I’m telling you today’s the biggest event in the school history!” Jun said very excitedly.

“What event you’re saying, Jun-kun?” Hikaru wondered.

While they’re still talking, the gray haired pop star bishounen felt a little uncomfortable. Hiroshii was a little irritated as many girls are watching over him, he really hate it. Hikaru was a little tense about Yusuke and Hiroshii. Those two seems to get along since they met. Well Meia was about… the same usual way as always… Yuu seem to be comfortable in his new school. While Jun he was now in this scene trying to announce them the ‘event’.

“What kind of event?” Hiroshii asked.

“I’m talking about this event!” Jun yelled loud.

Jun slammed down in the desk with a piece of paper in his right hand. The piece of paper has a good design of a girl and a boy was playing different instruments, some are singing and dancing and etc. There was a big letters that was announcing about some event. The letter in bold was written ‘Come and join the fun in Fuirei High’s Princess. Only girls would participate of this special event. If you like to join please ask Honjou Seishirou-sensei.’

“‘Fuirei High’s Princess’ isn’t that too soon?” Aki said.

“That’s right I thought this event only happens on January. We already have been through this event. But why now?” Hikaru agreed while looking at the paper.

“I feel something strange about this emp.” Meia mutters in monotone.

“Ne Hikaru-chan, what’s so special of this Fuirei High’s Princess?” Yusuke asked her.

Hiroshii glared at the long brown haired bishounen with a flame on his eyes. Yusuke noticed at Hiroshii’s glare and stared back at the pop star bishounen with a victorious smirk that was on his face, but Hikaru didn’t notice it(she’s a bit slow seeing things than you think).

“That’s right we forgot to tell you about Fuirei Highs’ event.” Jun said.

“Well Fuirei High has the biggest event that sometimes happens once or twice a year. But it seems that someone had decided to make this event early.” Hikaru explained.

“I see… so did one of you guys ever participate these kinds of events?” Yuu asked them curiously.

“Well… I did participate once at the Karate contest 2 or 3 years ago. One of the contestants was so lame and it made me so bored that I couldn’t find some interesting player.” Aki answered.

Hiroshii, Yusuke and Yuu looked at Aki who was smirking happily with a major sweat-drop that was rolling down above their heads.

“About you, Meia-chan?” Yuu asked his fiancée.

“…I join the ‘Staring Contest’ few years ago. Most of them lost the contest and I made some a small accident that I couldn’t control it very much.” Meia answers.

“Don’t tell me you did ‘that’.” Yuu said with a surprise look.

“… What about you Jun-kun, what did you join?” Yusuke asked him.

“Wanna know? I join one of the contests but I forgot what it was called.” Jun answers with a smile.

“So what kind of contest did you join?” Hiroshii asked.

“A Fighter’s Skill.” He said with a glee.

3 boys looked at the bully with vertical lines in their head and some hidoma flying above their heads. They can’t believe from what they heard from Aki, Meia and Jun had joined some strange contests. Then they stared at Hikaru who was the only one left.

“What about you, Hikaru/Hikaru-chan?” Yusuke and Hiroshii asked the innocent red head girl.

Hikaru just gave out a small nervous smile at the 2 bishies and answered, “Well… it’s a little embarrassing. Few years ago I joined some contests here and I—”

Hikaru couldn’t finish her sentences until the girl interrupt their conservation. The girl in short brown hair with deep green eyes and she’s about the same height of Hikaru. It was Daijouji Miroku(remember her from the 1st chapter of Hikaru’s POV? That’s her alright). The short brown haired girl was staring at her with a furious look.

“I CHALLENGE YOU IN THIS EVENT, HIDOKAWA HIKARU!!!” Miroku said while pointing Hikaru.

“Ano… Why do I have to challenge you, Daijouji-san?” Hikaru asked her politely.

“Did you forget that we always challenge on these events few years go. You always won in the 1st place while I, Daijouji Miroku, was on the 2nd place! Have you ever thought back then that you humiliated me?” Miroku said.

“Ne, why does Daijouji-san want to challenge Hikaru, Meia?” Yuu asked his fiancée curiously.

“You didn’t know? Hikaru-kun joined one of these contests she won 19 1st place awards few years ago. Because of that many boys surround her ’coz she’s the prettiest and talented girl here in Fuirei High.” Aki told them

“Is that true, Hikaru?” Hiroshii said excitedly.

“Why didn’t you write me about that, Hikaru-chan?” Yusuke said.

“Gee… It’s was only pure luck.” Hikaru answers shyly.

“That was not a pure luck, Hikaru-chan. I could feel the senses in the air that you have hidden good luck charms.” Meia answers in her monotone voice.

“Err… what kind of hidden charm you’re talking about, Meia?” Hiroshii asked her a little scared of her tone.

“I think its better that you don’t know, Hiroshii.” Jun whispered the gray haired pop star.

While Yusuke and Hiroshii were praising at the innocent red headed girl, and Meia was trying to tell about Hikaru’s /hidden charms/(I wonder what kind of hidden charms that Meia said?). Miroku felt really irritating at Hikaru that she was surround with the gray haired pop star Hiroshii and the new good-looking Yusuke.

“DON’T IGNORE ME HIDOKAWA!!! YOU SHOULD ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE. FOR I, DAIJOUJI MIROKU, WILL CHALLENGE YOU IN THIS CHALLENGE!! AND I WON’T LET YOU WIN IN THIS MATCH!!!” she yelled at them.

“But I don’t want to join that event and I haven’t signed up.” Hikaru told her.

Miroku gave out a mischievous smirk and answered, “Don’t worry I already wrote your name in the list. So be preparing for that ‘coz I’m going to win this time without any fail, Hidokawa Hikaru!” she said.

Hikaru want to say another word to the short brown haired girl. And with that, Daijouji Miroku turned her back and left them with a furious face that was on her expressions. Hikaru just stared at her so-called-rival Miroku with a worry and confusion look.

“Why does Daijouji-san have to be my rival anyway? I didn’t do anything embarrassing to her…” she mutters softly.

Somewhere in Miroku’s house, she was banging her most expensive desk that her parents bought it for her. She was so furious and angry every time when it comes to an important or exciting event.

“DAMN! THAT HIDOKAWA! SHE’LL BE PAY FOR INSULTING AND HUMILIATING TO A DAIJOUJI LIKE ME!!” she cursed.

She went out of her room and went into the next room which was located at the end of the house. Inside of the other room, it was filled with different awards that she won ever since when she was young. Except for a small detail, she had never received any 1st award ever since Hikaru arrived in her life. She remembers all the hard-working of the contests, her work and performances are always perfect. But why did they choose Hikaru to win the contest?

“Let’s see how things are going to work this way, Hidokawa Hikaru…” she said with smirk on her face.

“ACHOOO!” Hikaru sneezed.

“Bless you, Hikaru-kun. Are you catching a cold or something?” Aki asked her.

“No thought there’s someone talking about me.” The red hair answered politely.

“So have you thought anything on your talents for this year event, Hikaru?” Hiroshii asked her.

“To tell you the truth… I don’t have a slightest idea.” Hikaru answered innocently.

Everyone fell in the ground in Anime style with sweat-drops that was rolling down above their heads. While innocent Hikaru just stand still in chibi with a cutest smile.

“As usual you haven’t changed at all, Hikaru-chan.” Yusuke whispers in chibi.

“But don’t worry about me, guys. I could do it.” She said.

Hiroshii stared at the innocent red haired girl thinking or studied at her expressions. And then he gave out a small smile.

“Okay if that’s fine with you, Hikaru. But you have good friends that surround you to help and supported you on your problem you could ask us for ideas.” He told her.

“Hiroshii’s right, Hikaru-chan, you’re not alone.” Jun agreed.

“No matter how troubles you are you still have your friends, us, to support you.” Aki said.

“And we stick together like real friends do.” Said in unison Yuu and Meia,

“Well I don’t want to disagree, but Hiroshii’s right, Hikaru-chan.” Said Yusuke admittedly at Hiroshii,

Hikaru looked at Hiroshii and her friends surprise and smiled at him, “Thank you very much, Hiroshii-kun, mina-san.”

Yami Yoru: Well I’d got to admit this story’s really good even Suki da Aoi.

Kairi: See I told ‘ya you’ll like it. (smiles)

Yami Yoru: Yeah right…

Hiroshii: Don’t worry, Hikaru. As long as you think well what you’re performing. I’m sure you’ll do great.

Yusuke: If not I could help you on your performances, if you like.(smiles)

Hiroshii: Hey, are you trying to flirting her, Yusuke?

Yusuke: I’m just trying to help Hikaru-chan, Mr. Pop Star.

Hiroshii: Why I’m going to…
