One Starry Night
Author:

Just a cool thought I had so I wrote it down in poetry. Not my best work, but what I would myself term a "cute" or "cutsy" poem. It's short and sweet, not normally my style but it fit the creative flow I had at the time. I REALLY like the idea though.

My soul is out there,
A moment ago I thought I saw it somewhere,
I had a glimpse of what might have been
An empty possibility is what I have seen,
It glimmered a moment in the emptyness of the darkling sky,
My eye caught a reflection from it, it was my soul flying by,
It's gone now and perhaps it never was,
I wish I could find what I'm meant to be because,
I am lost without myself.
