Slicing apart what should never
Have been a piece,
Chopping to bits and spreading apart
So they can't be together, so they can't find release.
Pulling, unweaving the tangle,
Unraveling the mass;
So entwined in each other they can't
See past their own memories, their old past.
Bleeding, they watch it all flow away
Marvel at the emptiness, the space.
Wonder as to what wasn't organic;
Feel it tear away with hesitant haste.
Live for this end made
Could not stand the feeling, infatual.
Did the honor of making it plain:
Momentary, it was wrong. It's so unnatural.
Like little children who play too long
Ignore the calls and have one playmate
They don't notice they were once Two.
Still, apart, the fact doesn't rate.
Watching the scene of achieved gore
Cackling for their fall, it's so funny to see,
Burning and burying the remains in Fall
The season of Separation, of Glee.
