Broken
Author:
Matthew James Current PM
What it's like to realize that your dreams are just dreams. The crushing grip of reality. Broken dreams... Not as long or as in depth as it could be given time, but it communicates its message effectively.

See it but it isn't there
A future spirited away by those who do not care,

Try and catch it and watch as it flies away,
Hope falls from numb hands, speechless mouths can nothing say,

Emptiness seeps into a pefect gem,
What once was fought for is let slip again.

Watch as, fractured, it falls,
Watch as, hearts, it galls,

See hidden pain,
See thoughtless gain,

See what money has done,
See what war has won,

There is no justice here.
