Past, Present and Future

Past, present and future,
Merge into one as I remove,
The veil that darkens my eyes.
I don't see my path laid out,
Why, I ask myself,
My life is still shrouded in lies.
Now, I see the truth,
I don't need to worry,
God holds my life in his hands.
I walk off with a clear mind,
Knowing that, after this earth,
I'll travel again in better lands.
