THE CYCLE OF THE SUN

Consider the daily trajectory of the sun,
From one side to the other it must run,
A line starting in the east, ending in west,
A path from dusk to rise with halfday's rest.
And every day the golden sentinel rises true,
The same but varying slightly in cue.
Yet it is still the same light sphere each and every day,
Sailing the pale blue sky with same light, with warming ray.

And so is life, not a line yet moreof a sphere,
Does the sun its dusk's approach fear?
For dusk will lead to a later dawn,
Never has the sun rose once only to be gone.
An endless cycle life and sun alike,
So meaningless to impale a dusking mind with fear's sharp pike.
Live, die, live, die, forever again,
The wheel of time must descend to ascend.
