POV: Sasha
Xin refuses to look at me after Brian leaves. Xin was at David’s this morning and made him breakfast. At least, that’s what Brian said. I stand and walk over to the kitchen and watch my brother wash a few dishes. “So, David is out of the hospital I take it.”

My brother stiffens and places a dish down carefully. Sighing, he turns to face me, leaning against the counter. “You want to know why I was over there this morning.”

I nod my head.

“Is there any way to avoid this topic of discussion?”

I cross my arms, waiting for his explanation.

“Brian told me that David had left the hospital so I went to visit him.”

“When did Brian tell you that?”

Xin bites his lip and pauses before saying, “...He told me after work.”

I sit down on a stool. “So he knows you’re a stripper. That’s fantastic. Did you by chance explain to him that you’re also a bisexual, schizophrenic insomniac?”

He gives me a disapproving look. “It was completely by chance that he found out where I worked. I don’t think he’s going to tell anyone, Sasha. He has no reason to.”

“Fine,” I grumble. “I’m not moving if people find out this time, though.”

“Fair enough.”

We glare at each other before I say, “So, why did you want to go visit David so early?”

I’m shocked to see my brother blush. Oh, wow. He really does like David.

“Well, I wanted to make sure he was okay. Anorexia can be a really serious sickness, and I was worried about him.” He shifts uncomfortably, “And, well, I...”

“I saw you.”

“Excuse me? You saw me?”

I get up and walk over to Xin. “Danny and I saw you two outside the cemetery kissing.”

The man before me looks stunned. Then, he smiles and pulls me into a bear hug. “Why didn’t you say something? I’ve been beating my brains out trying to figure out a way to tell you.”

“Really?”

“Yes, really.” He holds me at arms length so he can look at me. “You’re my baby brother, Sasha. Your opinion is the most important in my life.”

Grinning proudly, I fling my arms around him.

When we step apart I punch his arm playfully. “So, have you two...”

Xin covers his face. “I’m mortified,” he says, embarrassed. “I can’t believe you just asked me if I’ve had sex with your friend. This moment will scar me for life.”

“You’re avoiding the question,” I point out.

“No!” he shouts. “We haven’t had a chance to.”

I raise an eyebrow. “Then why did you go see him?”

“To make sure he was okay...” He sighs when he sees my disbelieving face. “Okay, that was the excuse I used. I really went there to..., well, you know. However, when I got there, he just looked so sleepy and adorable...”

“So, you made him breakfast instead?”

“Yes!”

I head for my bedroom. “I can’t believe my brother, the stripper, chose breakfast over sex.” I look back at him. “And you say I’m the one without a backbone.”

The appearance of complete astonishment plastered on Xin’s face is hilarious. Now, if he could just manage to be this open about his past we wouldn’t have any secrets anymore.

Love Eternally – Sad. You don’t like Brian. Then again, I can see why... sort of. He is a bastard at times.
Moonlite-Chaos – It is sad that Brian’s mom died. (Moment of silence) Oh well! That means he’s bound to get a massive amount of comfort from Sasha, ...and perhaps others.
Kizuna – Danny will be in the next update and there will be sweet moment between Sasha and him. Other than that, I can’t tell you anything that will happen. You seem to be the only one who still has any faith in Brian. He’s so awesome and evil.
Chris-no-Baka – I can tell you this much: Brian always feels the need to be two steps ahead of everyone else. He has to be in control of every situation. Even though Brian is very callous, he’s very in tune with others’ emotions.
