My Sunrise

The night brings it's blessings,

It's hopes and it's fears.

Will the morning find me,

My pillows soaked in tears?

Or will the dawn bring,

A New light in my life,

An end to my nightmares,

A reason for living.

Should the morning arrive,

And should I not wake.

It is your smile,

That with me I'll take.

Your eyes that have guided me,

When there were no stars.

And gave mine no scars.

For you are my sunrise,

My moon and my stars.
