You stand in front of the mirror
You take off your clothes,
The ones with the names
And the logos

You look in your eyes
And in there you find
You can't recognize yourself
Any more, because

You are a product of the world,
A million voices telling you
What you should do with your life,
Leaving nothing left of you

You look at your skin
You look at the scars
The ones that you made
When you couldn't have a car

You cover your eyes
And think to yourself,
Why the fuck should I care
About material wealth?

You are a product of the world,
A million voices telling you
What you should do with your life,
Leaving nothing left of you

You go to the window
You stare at the sky
And you wonder why
Did you fall to this ridiculous state,
This so-common trait,
This lifeless life
Filled with inner strife?

You are a product of the world,
A million voices telling you
What you should do with your life,
Leaving nothing left of you

You sit in the darkness
You look at the moon
You wonder where's salvation
And is it coming soon?

You see the stars light up
And you look outside
Into the night
And you wonder how
You can be saved now
When you're like everyone else
And there is no more "myself."

You are a product of the world,
A million voices telling you
What you should do with your life,
Leaving nothing left of you

You are a product of the world,
A million voices telling you
What you should do with your life,
Leaving nothing left of you
