Life's Sting
Author:
Matthew James Current PM
Another angst-ridden poem, my favorite kind if you couldn't tell. In any case, a somewhat morbid, short, rhymed poem. Wrote it and the others on quite a troubled day.

Flames burn,
Hearts yearn,
Eternity awaits,
Fickle fates,
The sky floats away, the earth doesn't stay,
Where is life, look upon the strife.
Seek souls, empty holes,
Good lost, deaths cost,
Time spins, life begins,
Ending near, never fear.
Hatred burns, life yearns,
Something more, eternal sore,
Helpless wanderer, endless ponderer,
Moneys hollow, such great sorrow.
How can one love such a world as this?
