Authors Note: I wrote this story in the 4th grade, the reason why...I can't remember! But it got written anyway! It was written on paper, with illustrations, etc (trust me, you don't want to see the illustrations!) Because chapter 2 is the sequel to this story, I felt it necessary to post the first story, so you the reader will know what the hell's going on! I have reproduced the story with all its spelling mistakes and improper punctuation. So I don't want any comments on the spelling...I did it intentionally to show how my writing's come along since I was 10....so...enjoy!

The Case Of The Missing Diamond

One day Jeff, Adam and I were in Niagara Square playing video games. We were playing Street Fighter 2, when we heard the alarm from the jewlrey store go off. This strange man came out with the 90 millon dollor diamond. At first we didn't think of stopping him until one day I read the paper and the headline said MISSING DIAMOND WORTH 90 MILLON DOLLORS, REWARD $90 MILLON. As soon as I read it I called Jeff and Adam and told them about the diamond, and the reward and we agreed to split the reward 30 millon for me, 30 millon for Jeff and 30 millon for Adam. We decided to

meet at the arcade. So an hour later we met at the arcade and talked about how to get the diamond from the strange man. But the question was how? Then this old man told us where to find the strange man. So after an hour we went to the strange man's hideout. But before I went in I remembered the strange man's hideout was a funhouse, and they didn't shut the funhouse down. So we went in and searched but every place we went there were traps. We got half way through the

funhouse when we came to the second last part. The room was sort of a puzzle, and sort of a maze. The stairs were upside down and every place you went there was a dead end. It was hard but we got to the strange man. He wanted a showdown me against him. I punched him three times and knocked him out. I took the diamond and left. Then we took it and gave it to the Square, We got the reward and split it up.

THE END
