Inevitable

Hurt so much because I can't see
The broken things inside of me
Hurt myself so I can feel
And try to make it all seem real
The scars add up then fade away
They no longer make me feel okay
Relics that seem to work less and less
No longer are can I find my great egress
Cut even deeper to try to see
But I can't find anything left of me
Striped away too much skin
Never to be stitched together again
