On the Playground Swings

A broken heart I can offer
No better can I do
I accept of what you can give me
If you would only have me too

Two children we are at heart
Side by side, broken souls
But we are not lonely at least
Under the moon in the cold

Reach up to touch the sky
Back and forth together we go
Two like smiles across two faces
A happiness we both can show

We are much alike
Your hopes and mine
Forever swinging to be able
To someday fly

A/N: Dedicated to Adam who has a child's heart of gold.
