Feels So Right

Life’s never dealt me the best hand,

Never given me the best opportunity to shine,

But there’s one thing that keeps me going,

And that’s knowing that you’re mine.

The most amazing day of my life,

Was that day that I somehow met you,

You took heaven and made it a reality,

You made the dark, grey skies, a pale blue.

You smiled, and took me in your arms,

And I loved you right from the start,

But tell me, why am I so special,

How could I have won your heart?

You could have any girl in the world,

And yet, for some reason you chose me,

Can you tell me how that makes sense,

Or how that came to be?

I must be the luckiest girl of all,

For I have you to hold tonight,

And I thank all the stars in heaven above,

For this love that feels so right.
