Looking for the light at the end
Making my way through the darkness
But I just trip and fall

Trying so hard just to get out of here
Looking for that special thing I lost
Making my heart find the sadness
But I just stop it all

Getting out of here
Was my original plan
Leaving this place
For something more exciting
It was what I wanted
But now I realize
How much life can't be recognized
Until I find my way

Watching for a hand reaching out to me
But nothing came at all
