An Angel's Life

It seems so easy to take the path of wrong,
To flee from life's fair light and joyous song.
Your grievances aren't problems but challenges to overcome,
It is your choice if to failure you succumb.
Why do you rip and tear your wings,
Why have you let the darkness sting?
The world needs your gentle heart,
Not killed by the devil's sinful dart.
Let your eyes hear the calling of the lark,
A signal, a guide to lead you from the dark.
Now is the time to find yourself,
Don't toss your life upon the shelf.
See through eyes of gentle dove,
A life of joy, a life of love.
