All Smiles

Pretty little flowers, growing in a garden
Mr. Sun shining down on them from up above
Little birds in the trees singing happy music
'Tis the season for happiness, 'tis the season for love

Walking down the street, everyone is smiling
Couples holding hands, babies in their strollers
Outside flowers blooming, temperatures are zooming
But, here inside of me everything's still cold.

I take out a machete, cut down all the flowers
Get a flame-thrower and fry the birds where the stand
I run down the street, turning over strollers
Cutting off the happy couples' hands

Sirens start a' blaring, kids and parents screaming
What could possess someone to do such things?
Handcuffs slapped on me, in the back of the squad car
Everyone is crying, I'm all smiles.
