Find Me Here

Find me in the darkness,
Hunt me out from among the shadows,
Listless, lifeless,
My fragile form reveals itself.
My eyes, two staring pools of white,
The pupils gone,
Dried up like lakes in a desert,
My heart, a blackened stone,
You cannot reach me,
Cannot harm me,
And yet, I harm myself.
