This is a rather lame poem, done for an open diary writers guild.
The group has a sort of ancient druidic theme, so my poem about
a siren is written in a way that I felt was authentic to it.
Naturally, this also means the whole thing is contrived, and less
than meaningful. Enjoy anyhow.

======================
A Siren's Call

Hear thou not my lady singing
beyond the shore and farther still?
Dancing, lithe upon the waves,
Her beckon calls Thee, mark it well.

Steady, on towards the sea,
walk not at thine own command.
My lady's power wraps about thee
E'en though thou passeth beyond the sand.

Light and warmth, thou shall find fleeting
as Ocean collapses in to greet.
My lady's song hast brought thou here,
Summoned here, Thy Death to meet.
