Pants?

Underwear?!
How absurd!!
No matter what you wear
It’s the underwear
(What people don’t always see)
That helps define you
The most.
Sure a bra may not fit right
Or a pair of panties
May make you feel exposed
But really, underwear never changes
And the good pairs
Don’t disappear.
If they do,
Perhaps they weren’t good for you
After all.
So why bother
With spring-cleaning?
(It’s still winter you insist)
The good and the bad
Will sort themselves out
And the ones
Meant to define me
Will always be
Nearby.
