Time

"Get out of here!
Get out of my face!
Now that I know,
It is just too late..."

She turned around,
And walked through the door.
She didn't want excuses,
She didn't want anymore.

He stood in his place,
He didn't know what to do.
He hesitated the words,
"I love you."

They are apart now,
After a stupid argument.
There were many evidences,
And countless obvious hints.

Until several weeks later,
She heard of him.
And his terrible suicide
Puts her heart to shame.

She saw the signs now,
Of how all this was a mistake.
But, "Now that I know,
It is just too late."

In her mind she neared the beach.
She saw the body miles away.
She fell to the ground,
And started to pray.

"Oh, God,
Please let him be okay,
And I shall do
Everything You say."

It just goes to show,
That only Time will tell,
That you wish were you dead,
That you were in Hell.

But now that you know,
You can make a wise choice.
You can either admit It,
Or forever be in remorse.

"I don't know what to say,
I don't know what to do."
That's just another lame excuse,
In place of "I love you."

I know what you're saying. You think my poem sucks, because it rhymed ridiculously and the beginning didn't even have anything to do with What I Did For Love. Just so you'd know, I wrote this before I read that truly amazing romance story. But after I did, I knew who to dedicate this poem to... Mina and Ji Won, the couple of What I Did For Love. Read it, and you'll understand...
