These frustrations fill up my head

As I lie here on my bed.

Thinking all that has passed between

The two of us in times unseen.

I know we’ve never talked,

And whenever I walked

Past you I would shy away.

I’m sure I would today,

Or any other day.

I wish I could say ‘hi’

Whenever you walk by,

Or smile when I catch your eye.
