A/N:  Anomie – personal unrest, alienation, and uncertainty that comes from a lack of purpose or ideals, according to Merriam-Webster Online.  Story of my life.  Oh, and I seem to be having a hell of a hard time with verse separation, so I used hyphens.  Advice would be appreciated… .LoL.

Anomie

“Just do what you want!”

No clue what that is…

Confusion!

Decision?

You’ve got to be kidding.

--

Why can’t you tell me?

Why must I decide?

Direction!

Instruction!

Don’t know where I’m going.

--

Ah, so many doors!

Call it a blessing?

Depression!

Destruction!

My whole self is aching.

--

My time’s almost up,

And I have to settle.

Coercion.

Suppression.

My future is waiting.
