Becoming
I leap to the skies on silver wings
A shattered sky which nightingale sings
The time has come to break my chains
And dance beneath the weathered rains
How is it that life's unbound?
I feel a mystery yet to be found.
My soul remains to plead the truth
And cure a horse with broken hoof.
A rainbow forms a bridge of gold
But as I travel my hopes grow old
I've journeyed near; I've journeyed far
I'm becoming much more than you are.
