The Ex

By lil_popcorngurl

Summary: Madison has had enough of her sister Rachel crying over ex boyfriend dumping her. The only solution for Madison to make her sister stop is getting her sister back together with her boyfriend. The only problem: it's not as easy as it sounds.

Authors notes: these are things you should know ever you see stars like this * in front and after a word, it is meant to be bold. I hate using capitals to express things.

Chapter one:

I couldn't bare to listen to it for one more second. The incessant howling and crying. But of course I am referring to my sisters never-ending crying. Her boyfriend broke up with her. She claims she loves him. Looks like the feeling wasn't mutual. I wish he did feel the same way about Rachel as Rachel felt for him. That way I wouldn't be stuck listening to her go through these stages of her break up.

I walked towards the wall that separated our rooms. " Shut up, shut up, shut up!" I yelled to the other side pounding on the wall. To my dismay the crying got louder. I stormed out of my room and went down stairs to the study. " Mom!" I cried, " she won't stop and it's been three days!"

Mother being the rational person that she is, said, " Rachel is getting over Anthony-"her ex boyfriend-" the best way she can. Even if it is by crying a river she'll get over him."

"If they never broke up, this would have never happened!" I grumbled.

" It happens Maddi, people break up all the time. Just let her get it out and move on."

I sighed and left the study to return back upstairs to my bedroom when I bumped into Scotty. He's the guy that takes up space, air, food, the washroom and the occupation as my brother. It's sad isn't it, that this waste of useful breathing air and a waste of my time should ask me, " How long until she stops crying? God, if I were her boyfriend I would never break up with her."

For once in my life my brother is useful. For once in his life he has an idea that has nothing to do with guy stuff. Suddenly the answers to all my problems were answered: Get Rachel and Anthony back together.

This should be easy; I mean c'mon guys have a one-track mind. When they think of my sister their minds go on repeat. My sister was tall slim and (surprisingly) a natural blonde, she had perfect teeth and posture. Unlike myself in many ways. I don't even know how I have a boyfriend. My sister is slim I am super skinny. Sometimes people offer me food because they don't think I eat right. I have braces and I wear orthodics. Not to mention I wear glasses. It's pretty embarrassing when Eddie -my boyfriend- and I kissed for the first time our braces stuck together.

I rang up Melissa to tell her the news of my plan. She didn't care. I begged for help and she declined. So now it's up to me to play cupid and get them back together. I might even make them fall in love with each other again!

*

I planned everything perfectly into stages before I begun. I hid behind a locker that was close to Anthony's. I waited intently until I saw him coming. I jumped out from behind the locker.

He gasped as he looked at me, " aren't you Rachel's sister Brace face?" he asked.

" My name is Madison. Ma-di-son!" I spelt out for him.

" What the hell do you want?" Anthony asked opening his locker. I noted his combination was 29-15-34.

"For you to get back together with Rachel." I said happily.

" Is this one of her little tries to get back together? By sending her kid sister Madeline-"

" MADISON!"

" What ever. Besides, no I won't go out with her." He said getting books from his locker.

" What?" I seethed.

" I said 'no.'"

" But why?" I demanded.

"Because I grew bored of her." He replied unflappably.

" Hell-o! I am giving you a chance to right your wrongs!" I poked him as I said 'right your wrongs.'

"No." he said firmly.

I felt as if it were time to set all the cards straight on my bluff. I was going to give it all I've got. " If you don't take her back, I'll hound you until you do." I felt so righteous. It reminded me of my sister. I shuddered to the thought.

" Why are you so intent on getting us back together?" he asked raising a dark eyebrow.

" Because she's annoying without you!"

" Um, hello? She was annoying *with me*" he retorted looking angry. " That's why I dumped her. Besides, don't you have a boyfriend to worry about, Madeline?"

" Madison!" I told him in a huff. " Besides he won't come over because Rachel's always crying. You'd be doing the world a good deed." I tell him.

" You think so?" he added hopefully. Was I finally getting to him? " Oh well, no!" he stormed away.

I ran up to him. " I intend to keep my promise." I told him. " I *will* follow you around until my mission is complete."

" Your persistent." He stopped and stared at me.

" What can I say, I always get what I want." I replied with a devilish smirk.
