::::: Chapter three:::::
::::::: Madison:::::::
“Rachel I don’t get you, you want him back yet you don’t.” I said to Rachel who was still crying.
“I don’t want him if he doesn’t really want me.” She said without a sob in-between.
“But he does want you! He called you and asked you out!”
“Only because you asked him to.” She said with a weak smile, “It’s nice that you care about me enough to want to stop my crying but I’ll get over it. Thank you for being so selfless.” Rachel said.
“How did you know I asked him to?” I asked in bewilderment.
“Easy, he called and asked me. He told me that he would never ask a girl out on the phone it was disgusting to him.” Rachel said clearing her tears away.
“So what are you going to do now?” I asked.
“Well for starters I’m not over him so please excuse me while I cry…” Rachel started crying harder than before.
I left her room quietly, “I’m sorry Rachel.” I whispered.
Rachel was wrong I wasn’t selfless I made sure Anthony asked her out so I wouldn’t have to suffer from her crying. “Madison sweetie!” Mother called me from down stairs. “Your orthodontist appointment has been moved up to right now.”
“Really?” I asked. I ran downstairs grabbed my coat and jumped into the car excitedly. My braces were going to be removed! I wanted to call Eddie and tell him. Strangely enough I hadn’t seen him in a long time. I wonder why.
My teeth looked so cool minus the braces it was amazing what a little dentistry could do. I took my brush and brushed my hair in a certain way and took off my glasses. I actually looked good. Eddie and I were supposed to go to a dance together tonight maybe I would wear my contacts for once.
I couldn’t believe what a difference there was in what I looked like. I actually looked decent.
