Imperfections
By: Amorina Leigh Carlton
My own imperfections
Cause me disgust.
My life and ways
Make me cry out in distress.
Though at first your perfection,
Seemed to frighten me away,
I soon learned that in fact,
We both have imperfections.
Though my imperfections,
Make me hate myself,
Your imperfections cause,
My love so strong to grow.
Those little things that
Others would find so horrid,
In my eyes are positively,
Wonderous, And make you seem,
Quite Perfect!
