A simple leaf
An angry tear
A whispered prayer
My sad voice
A cold eye
A salty drop from my eye
More to come
I can't cry
Can't be weak
Can't go insane
I see the end
Don't walk forward
Don't get revenge
One action
One word
Could end it all
But I can't be weak
I am strong

My mask is slipping
My end comes
A wall of ice is breaking
The cause?
A smile
And a broken heart
Their smile
My heart
To see my own end
Through the shards of my heart
It's disturbing
Regret worthy
But I don't regret it
It is better to have loved and lost
Than never have loved at all
And so I watch
Alone
Helpless
As he smiles and loves
And I fall deeper into despair

With one era ending
And another beginning
My world is falling
My hope crumbling
Like a fragile shell
I've trapped myself in my own mind
Causing myself pain
A masochist
