English Poem:
All Alone on a Crowded Street
All alone on a crowded street
Walls of the labyrinth closing in
Creatures of the night shrink by
And gaze at you with leery grins
Every shade passes though
Each soul wandering aimlessly
Fluorescent colors long since darkened
Mannequins stand tall in their ageless life
The shops are closed
Buildings loom overhead
Locks and gates at every window
Litter on the ground
The street leads beyond the horizon
Who can tell the sun from smog
The bitter wind whips its storm
As I walk alone on a crowded street
