Healing Scars

Hello, my name is Rin Okura, an average high school student, a junior to be exact. I, like you, struggle with the problems in life that all kids my age go through; from boys to shopping, and even, yes, to my looks.

There was once a time however, where I wasn’t considered “normal”… many even classified me as a freak. At the age of twelve I was forced into the sudden role of “responsible adult”, and many didn’t understand that… Their cover up? To spread lies about me to keep their “cool” visage. 

In all honest truth, I never thought I would be telling my story in this way, but since I was urged into this here it is.

I pray that this gets into the hands of each and every child who has ever had to go through what I went through, or who may even be going through something to this effect right now. I hope it encourages you not to give up until you find your shining star. Believe me, when you do, everything will be worth it…

And to my shining star, Aki-chan, I dedicate this to you….
