“Yeah, Yuki, I’m-“

“Give me that, K! It’s my turn on the phone!” A hand shot out to grab the cordless phone.

Katai Nozomi stuck his tongue out at his younger sister and darted out of the kitchen. Naomi jumped up after him, crying for the phone.

“I got it first, and I intend to use it! Nyaaa!” Naomi growled and pounced him, wrestling to get the phone out of his hand. On the other end, Yuki, Katai’s girlfriend, sweat dropped and hung up the phone.

As the two siblings fought for the phone on the floor, one of their younger brothers, Tadao, stared at them unfazed from his place in his door way. Finally getting bored with the scene, the boy turned back into his bedroom, closing the door behind him with a click. He closed his eyes and sighed, relishing the tranquility… Well, he did anyway… Until…

“Is something wrong, Tada-nii?” Tadao’s eyes snapped open and he came face to face with the ever-present Shigeki. The corner of Tadao’s mouth twitched.

“Do you really want to know, Shigeki?” he asked in a somber tone. Shigeki nodded. “Come closer, Shigeki, and I’ll tell you.” The 11 year old step forward a concerned look on his face. Tadao’s hand shot out and he grabbed a fistful of his younger brother’s shirt, quickly opened his door, and pushed the boy out of his room. “Stay out of my room!” With a satisfied smirk (the boy hardly ever smiles), he shut his door.

“Lolly, Ta’?” Tadao face vaulted in front of the youngest member of his insane family, 5 year old Mitsuo.

Two twin girls surveyed the scene that was occurring in the hallway in front of Tadao’s room. Katai and Naomi were wrestling on the floor as Shigeki walked away to go put the phone back in the living room. Tadao’s door burst open and little Mitsuo was thrown out of the room, his Gilligan’s Island hat appearing after him. Then Tadao’s door slammed shut.

“Tsuki, Mama’s not going to be happy about this when she gets home.” Sayuri turned to her twin, Tsuki, as she said that.

The other fluffy haired girl, donned in an orange undershirt and yellow t-shirt and skirt, nodded. “She’s not going to be happy about this at all… She might even cancel cookies after dinner.”

Sayuri, the twin wearing the orange t-shirt and skirt and yellow undershirt, nodded, her eyes widening as well. “Do you wanna-“

Tsuki nodded also, a sudden mischievous smile on her face. “Yeah, do you?”

“Of course. Let’s go kidnap us some cookies!” Tsuki and Sayuri punched the air in one fluid motion, their minds thinking the same thing. ‘Cookies!’

The two 8 year olds skipped past their siblings, heading toward the kitchen and a certain jar of homemade sugar cookies.

Tadao: 13 years old, black hair, green eyes, one word description—eccentric

Shigeki: 11 years old, blond hair, brown eyes, one word description—loveable

Tsuki: 8 years old, fluffy brown hair, dark brown eyes, one word description—impish

Sayuri: 8 years old, fluffy brown hair, dark brown eyes, one word description—energetic

Mitsuo: 5 years old, light brown hair, bright blue eyes, one word description—adorable

I know I said that I would do a blooper special, but I’m kinda still working on it. I still have to write stuff for my other stories!!! XD
