Dreamscape 4.5

My class was outside eating lunch and some Alderdice kids were on the steps at the back of the yard, and one of them looked like David – they were really far off. I looked over at them occasionally, and the one who looked David came over. He didn’t really look like David, he was way too tall (as tall as me), he was too lanky and stretched out, his head was exaggeratedly square with a pointed chin and long, and he had prominent freckles, and was wearing a basketball uniform. I went over to him and asked how I could help, and they said they wanted Adina. So I went inside and got her, and it started raining, so we stayed under the overhang, and the boys gave Adina a paper bag, and said something that I overheard even though I plugged my ears, but I can’t remember it now. We went inside, and it was time for math class, but no one was there and the TV was playing. I got hungry, so I went to my locker, and the bag was there. So I opened it and saw a sandwich bag stuffed with cracker and raisin and peanut butter sandwiches and cried out, because that’s what I took for lunch once and never ate. And then I delved deeper and came up with a raisin bread peanut butter and jelly sandwich, which I have been taking for lunch recently and not eating. Then I lifted the bag and it said “AsA’s Crush”…

Thenmy momwoke me up. I must admit, I’m not all that sad she did…

INTERPRETATIONS OF AMBIGUITIES AS I SEE THEM:

“Dreamscape 4.5”
- As opposed to “Dreamscape 4.0”. This is only a fragment of a dream, not the whole thing.

The boy who looks like David but doesn’t
- I was thinking about David last night, so I dreamed about “David”
- A friend complained that I never dream about any boys except this one who’s short and had dark curly hair. So maybe this was to prove him wrong or something.

Adina
-I feel she doesn’t like me, so I dreamed she was conspiring against me
-She’s just a popular figure in my dreams… as a villain… she’s shown up before

Lunches I never ate
-Myself reprimanding me for not eating enough
-Myself stating something else that is just beyond my ken.

“AsA's Crush”
-saying that my crush is food
-or it’s some boy that they want to embarrass me to, by showing how much food I eat. David? Some faceless character drawn out of my consciousness to enact my fears? I don’t know.I don't particularly care.
- It didn't really say "AsA's Crush", it said my real name, but I'm not putting that here. Sorry!
