"What the?! ARRGGHH!! Reece geeroof me! Why'd you knock me over?"

But at that moment I knew exactly why she'd knocked me off my chair. For there I saw, through the bellowing smoke being emitted from both our computer monitors, were two gaping holes in between the shattered glass. Screams filled the computer room.

"What the f."

"Lets get out of here," whispered Reece urgently through gritted teeth.

".yeah," I managed to stammer.

We crouched low to the old, stained, mesh carpet and pushed through the terrified and confused crowd til we made it to the door. We eased ourselves out of the room and then stood up as if nothing had happened. "What just."

"Shh, I gotta do this."

I watched in silence and awe as she pulled out what looked like a blue, mini electronic organiser and started punching in a message. Then she paused, pressed enter and started another message. Finally she looked up.

"Can you please tell me what just went on in there?" I demanded, gesturing towards the smoke-filled computer room.

"LATER, O.K.?" Reece spat hurriedly. I hadn't noticed til then that she was trembling all over.

"C'mon follow me, we don't have much time."

Suddenly she had started sprinting down the hall. I didn't even know that she could run that fast. When I'd finally caught up to her, we were outside the school. I had no idea where she was going. We just kept running and running and running. Sometimes she's stop, look around, frown and speed off in another direction. We where running for a full hour before we stopped.

When we had stopped we were in the nicer part of Brisbane, the upper-class homes and the million-dollar properties. Reece strode purposefully til she was in front of the security punch-in code. A few beeps and lights went off and the gates started to open. But this wasn't her house - she lived about 5km from here - how did she know the security code? We ran to the front door on which Reece produced a Skeleton key, and the large oak door swung open easily. I spied a medium-sized leather chair and went to it to rest my legs - the problem was there was already someone in it.
