Sorry

This was originally about my lunch table in third grade. It has since been improved. I find it to be very sorrowful.

"Sorry"

You know my story,
This is how it goes...
You know you caused it,
This is how it goes...

I was a human,
I was new,
Bet you loved that, didn't you?
All of you...
With your innocent grins
And scalpels
To disect,
To destroy...
We were so little,
But you were powerful.

I stood for it.
Five long years.
And you broke me, without care.

So, sorry...
I will not be here.
So, sorry...
I can't stand another year.
Sorry.
Sorry, sorry, sorry.

I was a human,
I was new,
Bet you loved that, didn't you?
All of you...
With your innocent grins
And scalpels
To disect,
To destroy...
We were so little,
But you were powerful.

You taught me hate,
You taught me fear,
It was so simple, but it still tears.

So, sorry...
I will not be here.
So, sorry...
I can't stand another year.
Sorry.
Sorry, sorry, sorry.

Sorry that I hate you.

Bet you love that, don't you?
