Heyy guys! This is a poem that I gave my friend Jackie. She recently moved to Florida (WAAAAAAAAAAAA!!) and I gave this to her the day before she moved.

Friendship

Everyone has their good times
Some last very short
Others for long times
Love is like an elastic band
It stretches then snaps back in your face
But friendship is like a circle
It never ends
Just a continuing cycle

Friends are people you
Share secrets with
Eat lunch with
Help when they are down
Support when they are strong
Fight for when they are picked on
Believe in them when they don't

Pick a rose and a carnation
The Carnation stands for friendship
The rose stands for love
Stick them both in a vase and check them everyday
The rose will die quickly
But the carnation will pull through
In the end
Friendship is stronger than love

We have been through so much together
Lets remember.
When we first became friends
I asked you to take off my Tiffany bracelet
I trusted you with that silver
And the time you said you were moving
I felt sad
I thought it was in the summer
But when you told on Wednesday
That you were moving tomorrow
My heart almost sank
You were one of my best friends

Break ups are hard
But moving is even harder
Florida might be sunny
But always remember that
New Jersey will miss you

I wish you could stay
But I can't do a thing
Life just happens
Nothing can change that

But we will all move on
God told me it was time
I'm going to miss you Jackie
I will never forget you

Just remember
Make new friends
But keep the old
One is silver
The other is gold

As much as I HATE cheesy quotes
I just needed to say that
