Lesson 6: Never Hate Rain

The young boy felt a strong presence around his area. He knew that there’s something wrong around his space, yet this aura was too familiar. Too strange yet he knew this aura from long, long ago. Then Kouji opened the door and pants breathlessly.

“Hey Rio something happened to Aiko this afternoon!” Kouji informed to young Rio.

The purple haired bishounen stop and saw Rio was sitting in some family traditional way. Kouji seems to know his style somewhere before. Rio was seemed to be concentrating to his Ki. Rio’s eyes open very slowly and then he stared at Kouji with a serious look. Kouji was surprised to see him very serious than ever.

“Does Aiko-neesan went some strange emotion?” the young boy asked the purple haired bishounen.

“Yes. Right after lunch.” Kouji answered.

“I see… So it really happens.” Rio whispered.

“Eh? What do you mean by that, Rio?” the lad asked him curiously.

“I’ll go and start making dinner, Kouji-niisan. After we eat I’ll put Aiko-neesan’s food to her room.” The young boy told him. “And tomorrow I’ll stay here to look after Aiko-neesan.”

Kouji watched at the brunette kid walking away from him and starts making dinner. He was wondering and confused at Rio’s last words. Just what does the youngster meant by that? Does he know about Aiko’s strangest mood that just happens now? In Aiko’s room, Aiko seems really frustrated yet looks so scary. She punches at her own wall, and then she stares at the rain with her angry stares.

-The next day

After the strange incident happens since yesterday, Aiko didn’t come to school today. Many high school students were gossiping on what happen yesterday. Some were all curious on the brunette girl’s strange anger at their PE. Even the principal of the school knew about this but he just let her stay at her house since he knew that she’d get more angry once if she’s on school.

Kouji, Hideki and Emiko were very worried and concerned to the brunette girl’s gloomy and angry, they want to know of her reason but every time when they get a chance to neared her. Aiko would run really fast and disappeared in any place, probably hiding somewhere on school.

“Did you get to ask her?” Kouji asked Emiko.

Emiko just shook her head sadly. Then the purple haired bishounen turned around and looked at Hideki to ask the same question. Yet the raven black haired lad shook his head sideway. Kouji just sighs softly. Until now they don’t have any clues.

“Did you ask Rio about this?” Hideki asked him.

“Yes I did, but all he could answers, ‘So it really happens.’ That’s all.” The purple haired bishounen answered.

“I wonder what Rio means by that?” Emiko wondered.

“That I don’t know… Probably he knew about this would about to be happen.” He answers. “And he also stays home to guard her, too.”

-Somewhere in the Building

The man in all black was still inside of the building, he was still watching on his computer with Kouji on the screen. He still has a mysterious smile watching the purple haired bishounen’s curious look.

“Still don’t get it, huh, Kouji?” he said.

The mysterious man in all black removed from his seat and goes to the files drawer that was a little far from the computer. He opened at the 3rd drawer and starts searching, and then he stops and took out a small brown file. He opens at it and gave out a sad look.

“This girl has a tragic past between her and it.” He said.

While holding the brown file, he stares at the window as the rain still continues to fall down from the sky.

-In the Yamamoto’s house

Rio was sitting on the living room’s coach while he was staring at the ceiling so worriedly. The TV was still on yet it was left it on volume 9 that he couldn’t hear it.

“Aiko-neesan…” he whispers. “Please don’t suffer from the past… If you suffer more, so do I.”

The youngster took a glance at the red square-shaped clock that was hanging on the wall. It was already 5:05 PM. He knew that class was over by now, and Kouji’s about coming home. He got off the coach and headed upstairs to check up his older sister. When he almost gets to reach his hand to his sister’s doorknob he suddenly stopped when he sense something’s not right. He quickly opened the door and hope Aiko didn’t do something really drastic. But what he saw inside of the room was left empty and the window was also left opened.

“Oh no… This isn’t good.” He mutters.

-In Hokai Academy

Class has finally over, many students were rushing out of the classroom like they were trying to keep up to their schedule. Some were trying to catch up their time on meeting the person they promise. As for Kouji, he has more worries to attend and he has no time to do his free time.

“I guess I have to come home and stay with Aiko and Rio.” Kouji mutters under his breathe.

“Tenjou Kouji there’s a phone call for you.” The announcer called out Kouji’s name. “I repeat. Tenjou Kouji there’s a phone for you.”

“Hmm… I wonder who could be calling for me?” Kouji wondered.

Kouji stood up from his seat and took his bag carrying along with him. He went to the office where the announcer called his name and where the phone could be held. The lady at the office gave the phone to the bishounen and bowed at him. Kouji thanks her and goes to the phone.

“Hello? Who’s this?” he asked.

“TAIHENDA, KOUJI-NIISAN!” Rio yelled at the phone

“Whoa! You don’t have to shout that loud, Rio. What’s the problem?” he asked.

“Aiko-neesan, has disappeared on her room!” the youngster answers.

“WHAT!?” he yelled. “I’ll go look for her.”

Kouji put down the phone, and suddenly began to dash out of school. Before that he might need someone to help him on finding the lost brunette girl. He went all the way and luckily saw Hideki and Emiko at the third floor. Aiko’s two trustful friends were talking to each other then they say Kouji who seems to be gasping and worrying at something due by looking at his serious looks.

“Hey what’s the matter, Tenjou-kun?” Emiko asked him curiously.

“Aiko’s missing!” he announced “And Rio needs our help to find her!”

“WHAT!?” Hideki shouts loud, “That’s really serious!”

“Let’s go at Rio and Aiko’s house!” Kouji told them

-In the Yamamotos’ House

Kouji, Hideki, and Emiko manage to find their way to Aiko and Rio’s home even though the rain was still raining hard. When they reach and entered at the Yamamoto’s house, they saw Rio was sitting at the dinning table with the looks so worried at his older sister.

“So Rio, do you have any ideas where Aiko have gone to?” Emiko asked the young boy.

“I’m sorry but I have no other clues.” Rio answers sadly.

Hideki slammed his fist to the wall looking angrily from what happen. He really couldn’t help himself but to worry of his friend’s strange condition. So as Emiko. Kouji stares at the rain. He watches the rain drops one by one that was now sticking on the window. Rio was also watching at the rain, too, yet he seems very sad than ever that Emiko and Hideki have ever seen this kind of expressions.

“It’s been only yesterday rains have occurred. When would it ever stop?” Emiko said

“Rain?” the purple haired bishounen whispers confusedly.

Kouji heard at what Emiko’s words, then he was carefully watching at it then something hit on his mind. Rio noticed at Kouji’s realization at the point.

“That’s it!!” Kouji exclaimed, “Why did I noticed that earlier!?”

“What is it, Kouji? Did you solve it?” Hideki asked him.

Kouji didn’t answer at Hideki’s question yet he suddenly rushed out of the corridors and runs fast. Hideki, Emiko and Rio followed up behind Kouji without any hesitation. They all ran with umbrellas and wearing raincoats.

“Hey ‘ya good for nothing! Would you mind telling us what’s going on here!?” Hideki yelled.

“Yeah like why Ai-chan’s acting strange?” Emiko added.

“Okay first question what weather it is since yesterday?” Rio asked them.

“Hey this is no time for weather information, Rio!!!” Hideki yelled

“Hmmm… Yesterday it was really cloudy and then it’s rainy right during our P.E. …” Emiko gasps, “Does that means that there’s a connection between Ai-chan and the rain!?”

“Correct! At that time Aiko has been acting strangely when dark clouds came and by that she acts not herself.” Kouji explained.

“I don’t get it. Why would Aiko-kun acts differently when the rain--!?” Hideki said.

“Did you get it now, Hideki-niisan? Not that Aiko-neesan gets angry at the rain, she hates rain.” Rio said.

“But why would Ai-chan get mad at the rain?” Emiko asked curiously.

“It’s because something worse happen at that weather when Aiko-neesan was on my age while I’m about in age of 7 going to 8.” Rio explained.

-Flash Back

Five years ago. Aiko and Rio were once very young and they were being trained at that early age. Both of them were training at their secret training room where no other guest could have seen it.

“HIYYAAHH!!!” young Aiko yelled.

Aiko aimed from above and hit at the man who’s about in his middle 20s perfectly.

“How’s that, Oni-san?” Aiko asked him politely.

The man smiled at young Aiko and answered, “Very good technique, Ai-chi.” He said.

“Mou! Don’t call me that stupid nickname, Oni-san!” she yelled at him angrily with lots of veins popping that were showing above her head.

While Aiko was in her training, young Rio was also there in the dojo room. He was in his eight-years-old. He looks so cute and very innocent. He was also training at his martial arts with their father. Both of them were very happy and they enjoy the normal life in their family.

In a rainy day on that night, something terrible happen that Rio and the family had never predicted. They all hurriedly went to the room. They opened the sliding door, and gasps surprisingly at what they saw. The room now messed with bloods that was scattered and wipe on the floors and the walls. Young Aiko was there who looks scared. She was covered with blood all over her body.

“Aiko what’s happen here?” Their uncle asked her.

Their uncle came nearer at the surprised and scared young Aiko. When he was on Aiko’s side, Aiko’s eyes suddenly become different as Rio saw her eyes so as their mom and dad.

“UNCLE LOOK OUT!” he screams loud.

But it was too late, before their uncle could move away from Aiko. He was being slashed by Aiko’s real live sword. Their mother quickly covered at young Rio so she wouldn’t let him see their uncle’s dead body. He was so scared yet he couldn’t help himself being trembled at what his older sister have done.

The next morning, the rain has stopped and young Rio was staying at Aiko’s side after she lost her conscious. He had been a worrying sick at his sister’s weird action and he hasn’t leave at her side ever. Then he noticed she was now wakening up.

“Mmmm… Where am I?” a muttered sleeping voice said.

“You’re awake, Aiko-neesan!” he said.

As Aiko turns to Rio, her expressions suddenly changed into worried and scared by the time she saw her younger brother’s face. She screams out loud.

“What’s the matter, Aiko-neesan?” Rio asked her worriedly.

But that seems to hear Rio’s voice to Aiko. This made Rio realized that she was screaming in pain and

Because at the rainy days, Aiko becomes more moody and angst, and when it rains harder she becomes more angst and angry. And the pasts will haunt her forever. Rio was very concerned at his only older sister, yet he was determined of her future. But he could swear that one day, she’ll be release from her angst by someone.

-End of Flash Back

“And that’s how it happens. Every time when Aiko-neesan sees the rain comes she gets very moody and becomes angry to it. She even tried to commit something dramatic.” Rio told them.

“I see… no wonder why Aiko-kun seems very emotional for all these years.” Emiko said.

“But what matter right now is to stop what Aiko’s planning up to!” Kouji yelled.

“Great! And how we’ll calm down her?” Hideki asked him.

“That I don’t know yet.” The purple haired bishounen answered.

“You’re lying.” The black raven-haired lad said.

They all ran hurriedly on the sidewalks. The rain was showering very heavy that they ever expected from the news weather last time. But they had no choice but to continue searching for Aiko. They looked everywhere but they trace no luck from any place that they’ve search.

“I can’t find Aiko, anywhere!” Hideki exclaimed. “Have you?”

“Unfortunately no, Hideki-kun.” Emiko answers so sadly.

Rio and Kouji also had a sad face and shook their heads. This made Hideki more worried of Aiko’s disappearance

“Of course the only place could be no other than… the PARK!” Kouji shouted.

“The park?” Rio wondered. “I know that Aiko used to visit her favorite place here when she was young.”

“Then that could only be near the train station!” Emiko yelled. “THE HOKAI PARK!”

“Let’s go!”

They all ran their way to the park. As they ran faster, the rain continues to shower harder and harder. Hideki noticed that there’s something mysterious on Kouji. He had never thought that Kouji would be really worried on Aiko. They finally reached at their destination.

“Look it’s Aiko-kun!” Hideki shouted.

It’s true. Aiko was there standing all alone looking drenched and soaking wet because of the hard rain. Everyone seems to be relieved that the brunette girl was okay. But Rio seems not happy or acting relief about his sister. He seems like something still not right on her that Kouji noticed at the youngster’s serious look.

“Hey are you okay, Aiko-kun? You were totally drenched! Come now.” Hideki told her.

“WATCH OUT!!!” Rio yelled.

Aiko suddenly attacked at the raven black haired guy. Hideki manage to dodge at her attack yet he got hit. Emiko and Rio neared at the hurt raven black haired lad.

“Does it really hurt?” Emiko asked her friend worriedly.

“Man that was so fast!” Hideki groaned. “I’ve never expected that she’s really strong.”

Kouji blocked at Hideki and Emiko’s way. He was so determined yet very serious as he stares at the brunette girl.

“Let me take care of this!” Kouji said.

“But--!” Emiko said as she was trying to stop him.

Rio tugged at Emiko’s jacket. Emiko stared at the young brunette boy with a worried look. Rio just shook his head and gave it a look that made Emiko to understand. Hideki wants to help out on Kouji but Rio also didn’t want to let him do the job too.

And that leaves everything to Kouji. Both of them were standing under the heavy rain, which makes them both look drenched since the rain was heavy. Aiko was angrier than he ever saw from the previous days.

“Come now Aiko. You don’t need to act like that. You can’t live on the past!” Kouji said with a loud voice making sure that Aiko could hear it. “We all know that you have a terrible past. But why are venting your angry on the rain and us!?”

Aiko ran fast forward on Kouji and hit him with her punch. Luckily Kouji could see it carefully and dodge her attacks.

“Why am I born like this?” Aiko’s words came out of her mouth.

“Huh?” he wondered.

“Why do I need to be live here!? I have no rights being here in the first place! I’ve killed someone part of my family! I shouldn’t deserve living!” Aiko yelled out as tears were flowing out of her eyes that Kouji notices it. “Maybe it’s better if I die…NOW!”

Aiko drew out a dagger that came behind from her pocket. And place it to her neck. Emiko, Hideki and Rio were scared seeing Aiko could do such a thing. Hideki wanted to make his move to save the brunette haired girl. Then Kouji made his move first very quickly that they ever see. Kouji held at the brunette girl’s right hand

“Don’t do it, Aiko. ‘Coz if you commit suicide no one would forgive you.” He said. “And if you do. No one would love you.”

Dai kirai, anata itsumo waratte ite

Tsuyoku te kawaikute ninkimono de.

Aiko widen her eyes. Did Kouji really mean it? Was there another way to accept her even though she has killed someone form the past? Aiko looked up and stared at the sky. The brunette girl smiled out at the sky.

“It’s possible for me to be save from someone,” she whispers. “Like Kouji?”

Aiko slowly faded out her conscious she was luckily caught by Kouji. Kouji hugged the unconscious brunette girl. He was really glad that everything has gone all right and more over he was relief that he could clam her. Rio was also glad that Aiko’s hatred on the rain have finally erased. Emiko was really glad too that all of their problems had been settled down. And Hideki was also glad that all those troubles are getting to normal yet he has a jealous face as he was watching Kouji hugging Aiko.

“What’s the matter, Hideki-niisan?” Rio asked the raven black haired lad anxiously.

“Oh it’s nothing.” Hideki answers. “Yea. It’s nothing.”

-In the Building again

The mysterious man in all black was watching at his computer that was set on Kouji hugging the unconscious brunette haired girl now on his arms. The man was smiling victorious at what he had seen everything that Kouji done on Aiko.

“Hmm… You did it very well this time, Kouji.” The man said.

“Aren’t you getting tired watching in your computer all day without any sleep or eat?” a voice of a girl told him.

The man in all black smirked and looked behind his back. There stood a woman who might be about in her teen, she’s about smaller than the man yet her height is the same as Aiko. The girl was wearing a similar color as the man was wearing, but her way of clothing was different. She was wearing a black leather tight, pair of fingerless glove, a mini-short that could give a major nose-bleed to the boys, she was wearing a pair of black boots that looks more comfortable on it, and a pair of shade. And the girl has short raven black hair with on of her right side tied small.

“But you want to know how Kouji was doing with that girl.” He said with a smirk.

“Don’t reason on it. And more importantly you need some rest and something to eat, you haven’t got any sleep or eat for months!” the girl complained.

“Don’t worry, you know I won’t die very soon.” He said coolly.

“Yeah right. So how is that girl doing right now?” she asked him curiously.

“As you could see right now. She seems really fine even that Guy.” He answered.

The mysterious girl gave out a small mischievous smile to the mysterious man and said, “Looks like he’s about way too far to get her.”

“Well actually… That girl was so slow to noticed to it. I wonder how will things do when that ‘other’ guy falls into her.” He said.

“The other guy?” the girl wondered. “Are you saying that--!?”

“Don’t get into the conclusion, dear sister of mine. It takes a matter of time. It takes a matter of time.” He told her.

Kairi: And what the hell are you wearing that clothes!?(staring painfully at Yami Yoru’s clothes, his clothes were pretty attractive like any boys would wears)

Yami Yoru: Hey they’re cool all right. And don’t forget that I’m cool!

Kairi: Well I could see that. Your style kindda reminds me one of the coolest guys of Yu-Gi-Oh.( still stares at Yami Yoru’s clothes)

Yami Yoru:(angry with veins popping) Well duh, idiot!

Kairi:(ignores Yami Yoru) Well anyway. First I would like to thank the reviewers who review my last chapter.
