Silver Tears.
Tangled web of delicate threads,
thoughts unexamined, words unsaid.
Emotions and fears are tucked away.
Afraid to be seen, they hide from the day.
My mind unravels, for so long bound tight.
Each thread turned silver in the pale moonlight.
Free as I am to now view my world,
I watch as my feelings are slowly unfurled.
frightened musings, silent screams,
conflicting emotions, shattered dreams.
My heart has rooms under lock and key
that no other mortal shall ever see.
they won't comprehend, they won't see why.
It will all be unclear, as hard as they'll try.
My emotions are not for the light of day.
Sunlight can't understand what i must say.
The world cannot accept my fears,
so alas, I shed only silver tears.
