Don’t Die On Me

Your skin once so rosy, now so porcelain,

You eyes once so bright are now dark,

Your hair so pristine, is now messed, and wet,

And your stunning smile has lost its spark.

Your voice is now almost inaudible,

And your tears endlessly flow,

You have changed for the worst and I’m so afraid,

Of the aching emotion you show.

You lay in your bed for so many hours,

Your grieving and I understand how you feel,

But you can’t just let this kill you too,

You have to wake up and live for what’s real.

Hon’, don’t die on me, please,

For I just couldn’t live without you too,

I couldn’t live life alone in this world,

Hon’ you may not understand, but I need you.

So get up, and open the curtains,

And walk out the front door, let the world see,

Do this, and I’ll love you forever and more,

Please babe, just don’t die on me.
